Telavox won on the interface
After studying three different operators, he chose Telavox. In addition to the classic reasons such as competitive price, Nordic presence and good service, Martin was particularly impressed by the interface and user-friendliness.
“Telavox also won on the interface, good UX means a lot from a support perspective! At present, the IT team receives very few questions from our colleagues and I interpret this to mean that they can sort themselves out and use the basic functionality without problems.”
Even more intuitive
When the Telavox app was updated, Martin was even happier. Readability was improved, changes were made to the interaction design and functions. Which, by the way, are constantly updated automatically.
“It has become even more intuitive and everyone can recognize themselves because the design language is similar to the apps you use privately and therefore no manual is required,” says Martin.

Cloud-based solution in corona times
Another important thing that is highly relevant to Martin is that in these times they have a business-critical cloud-based communication solution. Something that can make a big difference for companies during the coronavirus outbreak.
“In the Nordic region, we have come a long way with cloud-based solutions and are already used to working remotely. This also applies to Lime Technologies employees to the extent possible depending on the service. But if we need to send everyone home, it’s no problem thanks to Telavox’s cloud-based solution. The IT department can use and manage everything remotely and the same goes for our customer support and many other departments,” says Martin.
It should be easy to stay safe
And despite working remotely, Lime Technologies does not have to compromise on information security, which is a priority for software companies. Martin thinks it’s important to keep a balance and be flexible – employees should be able to work from home and use the necessary tools on the computer. He wants the same approach to customers.
“Security should be simple and Telavox is well on its way here. You can choose to log in via your Microsoft account and then we have centralized control over who logs in and when people leave, we can administer it in a simple way,” says Martin.
New employees immediately understand
Having a communications solution that can meet the needs of a fast-growing company where people are quickly becoming self-sufficient has also been a key factor for Martin. When new employees get their computers and mobiles, they should be able to just log in and get straight to work.
“One internal initiative has been to automate the procedures when people start their jobs. In our trainee program, we sometimes onboard forty to fifty new employees at once. We simply add users and licenses and the only physical input is the SIM cards. But soon there will be a solution to that when Telavox gets support for e-sim,” says Martin.
Great to have a personal contact at Telavox
Behind the scenes, their personal Project Manager from Telavox, Morgan Arnhed, is supportive and on hand. When needed, he also visits Martin and his team to demonstrate new functionality. Lime Technologies has also been willing to test new integrations such as the one between Microsoft Teams and Telavox. Martin feels that as a customer he has influence and that Telavox listens to his opinions.
