"It was a no-brainer for us to choose Telavox. It is easy to scale up as needed and enables many contact channels for customers"

About the company
Nordhaus was founded in 2019 and works to constantly develop and create workwear that meets customer needs. The principle they always strive for is based on combining function with stylish products, making careful material choices and always having the customer as a user in focus. The head office and warehouse are located in Malmö and most of the production takes place in Estonia.
The challenge
Trousers that fray, trousers with poor comfort and trousers with seams that split. This is an annoying reality for many craftsmen out there. The founders of Nordhaus have taken the criticism on board and created the work trousers of the future – eco-friendly, affordable, equal and stretchy. Johan Plambeck, co-founder and sales manager at Nordhaus, says Telavox has been involved from the start.
“It was a no-brainer for us to choose Telavox. It is easy to scale up as needed and enables many contact channels for customers,” he says.

The pandemic did not stop them
Despite the current COVID-19 pandemic, the launch in mid-May 2020 went really well. They received a good response and are engaging with customers via social media, which is Nordhaus’ main marketing channel.
“Many people say that this is incredibly long-awaited – mainly women who have been used to the trouser shape being adapted to men. We have two different variants to choose from. One model is narrower in the waist and more sewn in around the seat and the other is straighter in the model,” says Johan.
The solution
Telavox for geographically dispersed or mobile teams
For many retailers, staff need to be mobile – with the infrastructure in the cloud and geographically dispersed teams in touch with customers and support centers. This leads to fast service and seamless call transfer for customers, and allows instructions and information to be passed from managers to people in the field and vice versa.
Cloud switching systems allow customers to be easily routed directly to the most appropriate person to answer the call, without the risk of disconnecting and annoying customers.
"We want to be available to our customers"

The result
Telavox helps Nordhaus meet customers
Nordhaus is fully digitized, which Johan sees as both an advantage and a challenge:
“We don’t have any showrooms yet and we don’t want to go through retailers. Instead, we are investing a lot in clear and moving images and logistics solutions for returns. This is where Telavox comes in as an important factor in our efforts to meet customers on their terms,” says Johan.
For Nordhaus, choosing Telavox was a no-brainer because of its scalability and communication capabilities.
“We want to be available for our customers. That’s why the cloud switchboard is great so we can take turns taking calls. The queue function and the welcome message are also great. The statistics tool where we can see how many people have called in, missed calls and so on, is also very useful. When we get the business going, these key figures become valuable,” says Johan.
