Förenade Bil AB is one of the country’s oldest car companies, founded in 1921. The challenge
Previously, the four companies of the Förenade Bil group had three different telephony operators. This led to more administration and made it difficult to get an overview. Over time, support also deteriorated and Förenade Bil began to look for another solution in the market.
“When the customer service of our previous supplier couldn’t help us, I always contacted the salesman with whom I had a good relationship. But when he left, it became untenable,” says Christina Carlsen, project manager at Förenade Bil.
The solution
Christina relies heavily on her network when looking for new suppliers. Her former colleague started working in the telecom industry and recommended Telavox.
“At that time, we were not quite ready, but I kept Telavox in mind. After a couple of years, when it became relevant again, I compared different solutions and in the end it was Telavox,” says Christina.
User-friendly interface
The decision was based on a well thought-out and clear presentation.
“All solutions have their pros and cons. But I really liked the way Josef Rostami, Sales Executive at Telavox, introduced the platform – everything seemed so easy to do in the interface,” says Christina.
Förenade Bil switched to Telavox during the pandemic and the majority of planning was handled via Teams.
“Although we never met physically in the early days, our project manager at Telavox, Morgan Arnhed, was very helpful. I was impressed,” says Christina.

The result
Förenade Bil appreciates that they are not dependent on an external provider to make changes to the switchboard. No matter where they are, they can always make quick adjustments via the mobile app.
For Christina, it was important to find a solution that was easy to use but had advanced features that could meet Förenade Bil’s needs.
“Now I can support the heads of department in a completely different way. If there is a problem, I have the whole picture in the app,” says Christina.
Easy to adjust wherever you are
She tells of one occasion when she had to stop her car at the roadside between Helsingborg and Malmö.
“A clumsy colleague accidentally turned off the switchboard at a plant. But I fixed this in just a few minutes via the mobile app,” says Christina with a smile.
According to Christina, the biggest benefit of Telavox is that she is not dependent on an external supplier to make changes, most of which she can easily do herself.
“I hate sitting in phone queues. With Telavox, we have not only reduced our telephone costs but also saved a lot of time. It just has to work.”
Telavox simplified during the pandemic
During the pandemic, Telavox also proved to make daily work easier. One of Christina’s favorite features is being able to quickly add new members to groups.
“Several people fell ill during the pandemic and then it was super easy to just forward to someone else via the switchboard. I like the flexibility of the system and we really benefited from it when so many people worked from home or became ill.”
