After an eventful spring, many people are probably looking forward to a much-needed vacation. But before you drop anchor, there’s probably a lot to think about for you as a business owner. So check out our checklist before you shut down your computer, so you can enjoy your vacation to the fullest!
1. Set the summer opening hours
In the admin portal, you can schedule when your switchboard will be open or closed with a few clicks. Just go to Switchboard Services and click on the clock icon. Our Telavox widget, which you can easily install on your website, is also a great way to show customers your summer opening hours.

2. Record a nice summer greeting
Record a new welcome message and let people know when you’re on vacation. It’s quick and easy to do in the app. Just go to your queue and tap settings in the top right corner. Then select Welcome message/Manage sound to record a new sound.
3. Show your colleagues when you are free
Use your profile to show the guys in the office when you’re on vacation. In the app, you can easily change your profile and status, and the Vacation profile is available as a ready-made preset.
This way, anyone who calls you on your work number will get a message that you are on vacation, as well as information on when you will be back. So you can sit back and relax in your hammock!
4. Fill up with extra surf
You can easily do this in the mobile app by clicking on the gear at the bottom. Then go to Mobile Data and click on “Buy more data”. If you cannot do this, you will need to contact your administrator who will be able to purchase data for you or add the option.
5. Keep track of the statistics
If you want a quick overview of how many calls have been answered, the customer’s waiting time/call duration on average, and more, you just go into the mobile app and can then calmly sunbathe further.
