Telavox is a user-friendly and powerful communications service for businesses that enables customers to easily manage settings and permissions on their own.
As an administrator in the Telavox communications service, you have control over your organisation’s telephony. You are responsible for managing and configuring the service, including:
- Set mobile data allowances for individual users
- Select available services for end users
- Order new licences and phone numbers
The end user is the individual employee who uses the company’s telephony solution. Usage can be adapted to the company’s policy, meaning the service can be dedicated to business use or also allow private calls.
To help you as a customer, administrator, and end user quickly navigate the service and take full advantage of its potential, we provide below a clear guide to the permissions available to both administrators and regular users.

**Depending on whether you are an administrator for the entire organisation or only a group
The customer is responsible for, and should clarify to end users, what applies and what is permitted.
Who can be an administrator?
The customer can have one or more administrators in the Telavox service. A user with administrator permissions can also add or remove other administrators and end users in the service.
The Telavox service enables customers to split permissions and assign different administrator levels. This allows rights to be limited to specific groups or functions within the organisation.
As the data controller, the customer has overall responsibility for all data processed in the company’s Telavox services. This also means that the customer must handle and respond to any requests from end users regarding their data.
Any questions?
If you have any questions as a customer, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
As an end user, we kindly ask you to first contact the person responsible for telephony at your company.
