Shared voicemail

Share the responsibility for incoming voicemails within your team. A shared voicemail box makes it easy for multiple users to listen to and follow up on messages.

Don’t let one person be responsible for all incoming voicemails. With a shared voicemail box, the workload can be distributed across the team while ensuring that all voicemails are actually followed up on.

How Shared voicemail works

Calls that aren’t answered—for example, on a main number, in a queue, or in a group—are directed to the shared voicemail box. Voicemails are stored centrally and can be listened to by multiple users directly in Telavox.

The team distributes the follow-up in a way that suits their workflow. Someone calls back, marks the message as handled, or documents it further in their process.
