Are there people who should always be able to reach you, even when you’re in a meeting or busy? This could be important contacts who shouldn’t end up in voicemail. With priority numbers, selected calls can always be put through – even when your calendar shows you’re busy, while other calls are directed away.
How Priority Numbers Work
Priority numbers are set per user in Telavox and determine which calls should always be put through. When the feature is active, selected numbers can get through even when the phone is busy, while other calls are handled according to your settings.
Numbers are added in the user’s settings and can be adjusted when needs change. This makes it easy to adapt availability based on role, responsibility, or work situation, without affecting the rest of your call handling.
Get started
Priority numbers are added in the user’s settings in Telavox under Telephony & Sound and Advanced Telephony.
